Sherdley Park Focus Group Meeting

Those of us who visit Sherdley Park are being invited to attend a meeting hosted by St.Helens Rangers to discuss the management of the 200 acre park and have our say as to how it could be further developed.

The Sherdley Park Focus Group meeting will be held in the Arts Centre at Sutton High School on Elton Head Road, St. Helens at 10.30 am on Saturday 27th October. All park users are welcome to attend.

I've generally felt that Sherdley Park is very well managed by the Rangers who have an office on site and well maintained by the council's parks and gardens people. However, over the summer I have received complaints of vandalism and a general deterioration of the park. It will be interesting to find out the Rangers' views on this and their plans for the future.
