LOCATION INFORMATION - Where Is Brickfields Woodland in St.Helens?
Brickfields Woodland is on two sites, equivalent in size to more than 40 football pitches, which interconnect by walking across Chester Lane. The main site - known as Daisyfield - is adjacent to the former Ibstock brickworks and the old Lord St.Helens (Cory) landfill site. It's located between Chester Lane to the east, Lea Green Road to the west and Walkers Lane to the south. Via Walkers Lane, Brickfields Daisyfield connects to the King George V playing fields and then over Jubits Lane to the Sutton Manor Woodland. This hosts the Dream sculpture and makes for a very pleasant walk. Brickfields Red Quarry is a smaller woodland and is sandwiched between Chester Lane and Clock Face Road. Directly opposite the Clock Face Road entry is an entrance to Sutton Mill Dam, enabling a further extension of a Brickfields walk.
