Accessibility of Sutton Mill Dam?

Accessibility of much of the Sutton Mill Dam for wheelchair users is generally poor. It's probably best to access the Mill Dam via Mill Brow off Mill Lane by the east bridge. Access is possible via the entrance at the side of the Mill Lane Fish Bar in Mill Lane but there is a steep gradient down to the west bridge. Whichever access point is chosen, visitors in wheelchairs will certainly require assistance.
